Open Your Mind. Just 3 Minutes. With all due respect and admiration for all cultures and walks of life. Empty your mind and dehypnotize. Just 3 Minutes. Put aside all beliefs bestowed upon you, everything you were ever conditioned to believe in and still your mind. Take out a fresh, blank piece of paper. Look at it.
Imagine you're the first caveman to walk this planet. You don't have a social network, no peer pressure, no health insurance, no education, no rituals, no stress, no credit card debt. Just sticks, stones & hunger. You find a way to survive. You come across a cave to get some sleep, which isn't too comfortable at night. Next day you find an animal and unfortunately shave the poor things fur off (You're so mean, why didn't you ask it first?). Okay, so you make a blanket out of it. It's a good night. You become more curious and figure out how to make a baby. Aw, how cute! As the baby grows older, it finds comfort in the blanket. It has sentimental value. As time progresses, you urge it to break free from the cave, so it can dream, explore and discover. But you won't dare take that blanket away, because their grip is not very strong. It would be like taking candy from a baby. So, you let it stay wrapped in it's comfort zone where it's potential and creativity could not be fully unleashed.
As time goes on, intelligence increases and new cavemen begin to migrate towards different parts of this wonderful place we call Earth. Unfortunately some caves aren't as decent as yours, causing jealousy and hate towards others. So morale is down on that end of the world, where they begin to develop their very own ethics and beliefs which is passed on to generations thereafter. Kind of like multi-level marketing.
Now let's fast forward to the present day and walk through this caveman story in an analogical sense. Obviously a lot has changed since than. Change is constant. Change is an inevitable way of life. So, where did the first caveman really come from? Nonetheless the first living organism? Just take a peek at the Periodic Table of Elements. You know you loved Chemistry class. Factual scientific evidence proves all around us are complex combinations of molecules and matter. They make up your body, the air you breathe, the music you listen to, the beautiful oceans surrounding us and your comfy blanket. Energy makes it all possible. The law of conservation of energy says that energy is neither created nor destroyed. Energy always existed; making changes from one form to another. Energy makes our bodies grow and allows our minds to think. Why do you think we need to sleep each night? To re-energize!
Pretend you're a satellite looking down and laughing at this astronomical global ball of energy making a fool of itself. The whole time you know it's one energy field, one consciousness, all originally created by one source. It all clicks! Energy continuously changes, finding it's way to survive, duplicate and evolve. Just like the cavemen and present day human beings we've come to be. As you see, our soul reflects the highest, purest form of love we carry within us. We are one with all people, the planet, the sun, the universe and all that is.
With this universal belief, maybe people could find meaning in their life. Maybe people will no longer live in fear. Maybe nuclear programs will be shut down. Maybe the world could live in harmony. Maybe it could catapult new innovations, initiate strategic partnerships and restore confidence; all of which could make the world a better place for everyone.
Politics, Religion, and Culture are most likely here to stay, but one thing is for sure, everyone deep down inside, wants world peace. The only way it can happen is with one universal belief. However, as much as we love instant gratification, it cannot happen overnight. Just like any happy and successful relationship, it takes compromise and diligence to make things truly work.
It's tough to teach an old dog new tricks. But there's always a thing called Hope. What really is everything we are conditioned to believe in? Is it metaphorically-speaking a blanket over our life? On the other hand, maybe all religions actually do exist and there is someone up above observing, aside from a giggling Satellite. Just as long as you are at peace, that is all that matters. Or does it?
But that's all just a thought. Okay, you can close your mind now. Thanks for your time and consideration. Have a Great Day!
